Shaikh Salem died in 1572 and is buried in this marble mausoleum which was built on the spot where he preached and worshiped. The Qawwali Singers can be seen seated in the foreground near the mausoleum. They are singing Qawwali or devotional songs composed to proclaim the saint's praises in front of his tomb.
