Dundlod at Dawn

Our first stop after Delhi was Dundlod a tiny village in the shekhawati region of Rajasthan. The fort where we stayed dates to 1750. This photograph was taken early in the morning from the ramparts of the fort outside my room. The haze is from cooking fires.
