Step Two

Cotton waste is reduced to pulp and the flower petals are added to the mixture which is then transferred to large tanks. Here, two workers submerge a rectangular tray of fine mesh into the water just below the surface. Taking pulp from the bottom of the tank, they will empty it into the tray and agitate as the pulp settles.
