Some experiences occur in our lives
and are quickly forgotten.
Other experiences leave footprints on our hearts and souls
and we are never the same.

.Each night after the day's adventure, I would say to myself, "what a fantastic day this was!" I still marvel at the experiences I had during that three week period in February, 2001.

.At our farewell dinner in Delhi, we talked about our experiences and prepared for the next leg of our journey. Bela and her staff presented each of us with a medallion contained in its own special pouch.

.Click on the links below to see an enlarged view of the medallion and an explanation of the significance of the images of Laksmi, Ganesh, and the Om.
