Mehndi Party, Jaipur

Mehndi is a Hindi word used to describe henna painting and the resulting designs. It is most commonly associated with romantic love and marriage. Henna designs are an integral part of bridal adornment and cover the hands and feet of the bride. We had mehndi designs painted on our hands during our home stay in Jaipur. Here Fran shows off her design.
